Homer Costa's Hummingbird

Postby Laura Burke » Fri Sep 08, 2017 6:49 pm

Is the home owner open to allowing local birders over to see the Costa's Hummingbird frequenting his hummingbird feeder?

We would appreciate any information that could be provided.

I went there yesterday, Sept. 13, 2017 and found it twice. Not the best photo but it shows the ("Gorgeous"?) diagnostic gorgets of a male Costa's.

Bird on!

I visited two days ago... he's a real gem! The home owners don't mind if they're home, and you'll certainly need directions. Call Ashore Water Taxi. :)
