Thirteen people were there for the bird trip to Seaside Farm. It was overcast but I think the temperatures got well into the 40's and only light breezes.
Here are the species we saw:
Black capped Chickadee
Pine Siskin [large flock]
Common Redpoll [large flock]
We had hoped to see some sparrows, but there was little feeder activity. (Speculation on my part that the Northern Shrike might have been responsible for the lack of sparrows? I wasn't there so just sayin'.)
It was A Great Day to Bird! As we Kachemak Bay Birders are known to say!
